Our photographer is also in LA, but willing to travel. He just came down to San Diego last weekend to do our engagement photos. He's affordable and very good!
Thanks everyone for responding. You state that all of these photographers travel? Will they have a travelling fee or is that included in your package?
Does anyone else have any affordable photographers they would recommend? I need to find one pretty soon since my wedding is in 2 months...ick.

You should check out Reams Photo. They are a husband and wife team, amazing photographers, and super friendly and fun. Their prices are exactly in your range and I happen to know that they are available in two months. (They are good friends of mine but I promise I'm not biased - check out the site!)

I am trying to find an affordable and good photographer here in San Diego. I have less than 2 months before my wedding and so far I can't find any that are in my price range. We are hoping to spend about $2,000 on photos.
