I’m using this board to vent my frustration and was wondering if any other brides are experiencing this…..
I bought a sample dress in Oct for an Aug wedding. I purchased it in NY (I live in Cali). At that time, I asked the same bridal shop to do the alterations and told them that I would be back in May to pick it up. The reason I did that was because my mom and my sis was in NY and they wanted to make sure everything was perfect before I take the dress back to Cali.
So, I went back to NY and the dress was not ready at all. We did two fittings and it’s still not done correctly. At this point, they said they’re going to mail it to me when it’s completed. The store/seamstress had promised that it would be completed today but have once again missed their deadline.
Any suggestions on what to do… I’ve already paid in full and is currently in the seamstress’ hands. I was thinking of getting another airplane ticket just so I know everything was done correctly but I’m afraid they’ll STILL not be ready… they have missed every deadline so far….
