I didn’t try on any Casablanca gowns as I originally found a dress by Callista that I fell in love with until I had a bridal store tell me they stopped carrying the line because of prices and material. I decided to go to a local bridal salon and asked about dresses for plus size desginers that they carried to start my search again. They gave me a few designers: Mori Lee, Alfredo Angelo and Essense of Australia.
I ended up with a Julietta by Mori Lee dress (that is  the plus size collection). I have heard some of their dresses being under $1000. My dress was $1260 (Canadian) and I still have to pay for alterations. I’ve seen in the US people have said they range between $799-999 but I’m not 100% sure.

I hope your search goes well and you find something you like!

I don’t know where you are in the Boston area… but I am a Casablanca bride (wearing 2032 this Saturday… yay!) and I highly recommend Chryssie’s Bridal in Canton. I am plus sized (bridal size 20) and they had a great selection. 2032 is from a few yrs ago I think, bought their sample off the rack. VERY reasonable prices, amd I would be very surprised if you couldn’t find a Casablanca in your price range:)
