I’m a destination bee getting married in Key West, FL. I’m going to be in Florida for Thanksgiving weekend, so I’ve been trying to follow-up with the catering manager of our venue to confirm our previosuly scheduled tasting. After two weeks of no response to my emails, I called the hotel and it turns out said catering manager no longer works there.
The new catering manager said that she’s been “getting around” to brides based on date priority and that the previously chosen wedding packages have been changed so I can go with the new packages or stick with my old one? Well, of course I want to stay with my old pacakage pricing since we got a great deal. After a review of the contract, I realized it didn’t list a per person price, only the amount of the food and beverage minimum. I’ve emailed the new catering manager with the email negotiations from the previous manager re: the per person package price. I’m freaking out… I’m not sure if the hotel has to honor the pricing I was given via email since the contract doesnt specifically say the price pp?
