I only do so much planning at a time.. I’ll spend a week of wedding craziness, and then take a few days off and refuse to think about anything wedding related.

I am the same, I am really stressing about it at the moment aswell. Wondering will I forget something, will I be able to make all the payments.

I hired a Day of Coordinator, yesterday! My wedding is three weeks away, though, and I’m feeling super stressed with all the last minute stuff, timeline, everything running smoothly the day off, etc. It took beginning to break out on my face and neck which never happens to me, to finally realize it’s just too much stressing and I need to hand over the reins and responsiblity to someone else.

@Nikii_Luv:  Budget is the worst. We’ve gone over ours but luckily not by too much. It’s insane how much everything costs. And I completely budgeted under for a couple things having no idea how much they would actually end up costing.

But I also found great deals and negotiated my butt off for our “off season” wedding, which saved us like $1,500. Any yet, we’re STILL over! Grr.

I’m a bit envious over those who have the time to stress about little details; my stress doesn’t come from wedding planning, lol. It comes from professional development and dealing with personal grief.

At this point, I’m like? Wedding? Wedding planning’s a great destressor.

@Nikii_Luv:  That’s awesome! Yea, I have a lot of DIY stuff, too. A good friend of mine who is also attending the wedding as a guest, is arranging my centerpieces (he could be a florist designer if he really wanted, beautiful work). So she’ll set up all his stuff with everything else I have and take care of pretty much everything else. I already feel better knowing I hired her. She initially charged $1,050, but luckily I was able to get her to drop to $900.

@Nikii_Luv:  I agree. I’m really hoping after having hired this DOC, there is nothing else we need to make payments on other than final deposits that we’ve already budgeted for!
