The ring bearer and flower girl are about the same age 8-10. I am stuck on what to buy them. The ring bearer is my nephew. The flower girl is my sister’s BF’s daughter (not her daughter). Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bees! 😀

Well you could do one of two things. Buy them something you’d get them regularly as a gift (e.g. toys and so on) or buy them something for the wedding. Our flower girl was 8. We bought her a pair of shoes and a headband. She wore them for the wedding, but loves the headband and continues to wear it (the shoes are of course already too small as she grows like a weed).

@Brianalaura: Thanks for the idea.

Maybe a little girls locket for the girl? And put a pic of her dad in it?
For the boy just a fun toy? Or something to entertain him during the reception if he gets bored?

I am having a flower girl and a ring fairy and both are getting a custom jewelry box (plays music, ballerina inside spins, and there name on it) and a set of pearls(necklace, earings and maybe bracelet). They are 3 yrs and 7 yrs old and will be wearing the jewelry the day of.

@lefeymw: I like this idea. Boys are so hard to shop for.

I’m having a hard time with this too. My flower girl and ring bearer are my stepkids!
I’ve made my flower girl a cute headband she can definitely wear again. I was thinking about getting her a special necklace that she could wear….however I’m worried her Mom won’t be that thrilled about her having a special momento from me and FI’s wedding day. I was also thinking some sort of music box/jewelry box for her.
As far as stepson goes, I haven’t a clue! He’ll be 4.
Of course, toys are always an option and they’ll love those.

When I asked my Flower Girls to be in the wedding I gave them each a little fascinator that went with my wedding theme, since then I’ve changed it but hope to replace them with ones they can wear in the wedding! The girls are 7/8 and ALL GIRLY so when they saw it they both SQUEALED and HUGGED and that was so cute!
For the Ring Bearer, (2 years old) I bought him (as well as the Groomsmen and Groom) all Tuxedo Tshirts to wear to our Engagement Picnic and Rehearsal!

I got both my flower girl and ring bearer some coloring books and crayons and stickers and a camera from theknot.com.

The cameras were so cute and a big hit (plus very cheap. and they came with the film and batteries already). I also bought my flower girl a necklace and earring set to wear on the day off.

My niece loves pink and when I was at David’s Bridal getting my alterations done, I found the perfect gift for her!
She loved it and has worn it a bunch since then! 🙂 We didn’t have a ring bearer so I can’t be help there.

I got my flower girl a wand and a Barbie (she’s 3). It was 9 months ago and when I saw her recently she still refers to the Barbie as “Wedding Barbie.” 🙂
Also, lots of little girls love little purses.

I would have had suggestions for you, but then I saw that your RB and FG are older than mine (my RB nephew is 2 yrs old). However, I did get his gift on Etsy, so you could check there – there’s a lot of great stuff! Good luck!

I actually won flowergirl and ring bearer gifts from weddingbee! While I ended up just having a ring dog (and Unveiled Bridal was happy to swap out the ringbearer gift for the ring dog pillow) I gave my friend the flowergirl prize and the 8 year old loved it!
Here are the links to what I won
I think they’re super cute!
