hi bees, I’m just about ready to order invites and I’m stuck on wording!
So far FH and I can only (barely) agree on this:
Together with their families
invite you to celebrate with them
as they exchange vows
and become husband and wife
-enter the details here-
My concerns are:
a) “celebrate with them” just doesnt sound right. is there another word to say “them”?
b) “celebrate” sounds like they are invited to a reception only, no?
c)”exchange vows” should be “exchange vows of marriage”? i’m not sure
any thoughts or input would be great! thanks bees!

invite you to their wedding?
request the honour of your presence at their marriage?
invite you to share the beginning of their new life together when they exchange marriage vows?
You are invited to share in their joy as they exchange marriage vows?

we’re going for something a little less formal, and something along the lines of
request the honor of your presence totally isn’t us!

@krex: I think you’re really over thinking this, but it’s easy to get caught in the minutea of wedding planning. Sounds fine to me!
