I’m 6.5 months from my wedding and reallllly need to book my photographer. I just talked to Studio Blue and they seem very nice, friendly and affordable. I know many of you probably know how the company operates, so for those of you who do, what are your opinions? Also, has anyone actually used Studio Blue? What was your experience?

don’t do it! I used them and I was so sorry I did. My photos are not what I wanted and mostly out-of focus.

I was very disappointed in Studio Blue. I was nervous the entire way through the process, but was reassured that my photographer was going to be great. When I was assigned him, and contacted him, I came off as very nervous and detail-oriented (what bride-to-be wouldnt?!) and he reassured me that on the day of the wedding everything would go perfectly in regards to photography. While his calm and fun demeanor helped to make me feel at ease, I was very disappointed with the results after the wedding. Many shots were tilted and I hate that style. The shots of my walking down the aisle had cars in the background (gross) where as if he stood on the other side of me he could have prevented that. He missed out on the loving bride and groom shots that I truly wanted and would have cherished. In retrospect I should have given him a comprehensive list, but I was trying not to be so OCD about it. I wish I had, and I would have some photos of my wedding that I could cherish.
I would say, dont go with a photographer unless you feel 100% confortable with him/her, have specifically seen his/her work and have discussed in detail ahead of time what shots are important to you and what style you prefer!!
