Our wedding is a two day minidestination wedding to a summercamp ground that is on an island. Everyone needs to bring their own sleeping gear, and clothes, etc… but food is all being handled by us. The camp has cabins, showers, a full dinning hall etc…
I have always liked the idea of putting stuff in the bathrooms for the guests. And will my wedding I feel that it is even more important. But what exactly should I put in there… as the bathrooms/showers under the dinning hall are unisex (please note that each cabin has a washroom… just not showers in them because if we did that during the summer camp season we would run out of water during the first week of camp because of too many campers having showers… we make them go swimming in the ocean)… so what should I put in there?

Wow that all sounds great! How unique! For the bathrooms I would include Shampoo/conditioner, mini bars of soap, wash clothes and towels ( towels -enough for each guest – maybe you could put the towels in the rooms for them- buy them in bulk-im not sure if guests would bring their own towels unless you instructed them too ahead of time – or maybe the camp has towels??)
I also think it would be a nice idea to have a special note in each cabin (room) to instruct the guests on the shower situation along with a map of the grounds etc…

I would also advise people to bring flip flops they can wear in the shower and walk back to their cabins in….and I would say also put in facewash & shaving cream.

I will definately be letting everyone know to bring towels for themselves. But I defately like the idea of shampoo, conditioner, and all that stuff.
I actually asked for help today from the hive on editing a map of the camp layout. That is going into the invites and I will probably be putting it in each cabin.
Oooohhh definately doing the little note idea!
