I usually get chocolates, gift cards, small things he needs and never buys for himself (i.e. shaving cream, face wash, razor blades, etc.). I’m not very creative so I’m interested in hearing some better ideas 🙂

@chocolatecoveredstrawberry:  My husband likes scratch off tickets, but I don’t let him play very often, so I’ll usually buy him $10-$15 worth of scratch off lotto tickets and put $10 in an envelope for his next casino trip. He also really likes shaving accesories, like his favorite lotion which is the gillette intense cooling lotion. It also smells awesome!

@chocolatecoveredstrawberry:  Last year, I got on those websites where you write down your mailing address, and companies send you free stuff. My SO got a whole bunch of cologne samples, protein, and it helped fill his stocking for free. I also did scratch off tickets. This year, I am planning on getting him some dress socks, golf balls, golf tees, a tie, scratch off tickets, and gum.

Edit: other ideas are the hand/foot warmers (we like to ski and these are frickin’ AMAZING!) $5 fast food gift card he can use on a lunch break, chapstick, pistachios, a new toothbrush (because when do you honestly ever replace yours) a little bottle of liquor, an energy drink…

OOoo fun! I’m planning on doing stockings for us for the first time this year so I’m looking for ideas too!

My SO likes scratchers, too, so I’ll be putting a few of those in. I’m getting him a Keurig, so I’ll probably put a reusable K-cup in the stocking. Some nuts and candy to munch on. Maybe some nice face lotion. He started a new job a few months ago so I might get a small frame with a photo of us for his desk. Nothing too big though.

LEGO sets, candy, books by one of his favorite authors, tactile nick nacks or materials to play with while at his desk, mini bottles of alcohol, condoms (Yeah I’m classy) deodorizers for his car/gym bag, ammo if you are the gun types, packs of post-it notes, hand warmers, Emergen-C, pocket sized tissue packs, LUSH massage bar (Make sure to wrap it up. The oil will go right through the wax paper) crappy Chinese fireworks, chapstick, tiger balm, mini boxes of jigsaw puzzles, sudoku/crossword/logic puzzle book, a survival kit or individual items that would go into one, home made popcorn seasoning or bags of popcorn, an action figure of a favorite childhood character, water guns… uh… That’s all I can come up with at the moment. Point is, there’s a lot of stuff out there.

I don;t do stocking stuffers for hubby, just the kids.  But for your fi, you could get him a few hobby related things he likes.  Like maybe a mini poker set if he likes to play or mini chess set or favorite cd or dvd (World War Z is an excelent movie).

So far, I got my husband a copy of “Diablo 3” and the “Spawn: Endgame Collection” comic book (both of which were a really good deal on Amazon on Black Friday – I saved almost $25 and got free shipping). Also, I plan on getting him a pair of pajama pants, a bottle of craft beer, a bag of Milky Ways, and I’m making a sex/relationship coupon book.
