I am torn about table runners! My wedding colors are yellow and grey, and I was hoping to find a great grey damask print, but I can’t find this anywhere!! I have seen some online that cost too much. So do I just do a solid color. And do I do grey with yellow flowers, or yellow with white flowers and grey chair ties and napkins?!?!

Can you find damask fabric and sew your own?

What is the other decor for your wedding decorations?? I just bought satin brown ones on koyalwholesale.com fairly cheap. Depending on your other decor I would suggest doing a solid yellow or grey.

If you decide to go for a solid colour I would do a pewter (so you’re still grey but get something a bit shimmery for a little fun) and yellow flowers with yellow chair sashes and white napkins.

What about a grey runner with a square of damask under your centerpiece? You ought to be able to find grey damask napkins that you can use for this idea.

I was at Joanns a few weeks ago and saw a damask with yellow, grey, and black. I didn’t see it on their website, but if you’re not opposed to sewing them and can get to a Joann’s, the fabric was really pretty. Also, they’re having a big fabric sale this weekend.

ok I decided! We are doing light grey table runner and then bight bright yellow bouquets as the center pieces- this was the flowers will be the focal point. I found a good inspiration picture:-)
