Berricle has good ones, and I’ve found stuff on Overstock and Amazon as well.

For what it’s worth, I find if I’m doing something where I could damage my rings, I’ll wear a 4mm titanium band that matches my husband’s.  Around the house just for fun I wear cheap cz bands to mix it up.

Outside of having a Stand In Ring for the Proposal (until he gets your Real Ring)… I am not one of those gals that really understands this whole Stunt Double idea

I LOVE jewellery as much as the next girl (maybe even more)

BUT to me these sparkly “fakes” don’t make a whole lot of sense.

Especially in a scenaro when someone is going to be in a situation where they are travelling with this ring instead of their real one

If you are spooked out enough about losing your Diamond… or having it stolen from you while on a trip

Then I don’t get the whole idea of “security” that comes about by having another very sparkly Ring on one’s finger.

It isn’t like any bad-guy is ever gonna stop and ask “Is that Real”… before he holds you up

So it makes no sense to me

Best bet, is to just travel light… which is why when I got married I got 2 WBands… one sparkly & one plain

The plain band does all this and so much more

It means I can wear a WBand without worry at all no matter what I am doing, or where in the world I am

My ring finger need never be empty… and cause me no worries (most married women the world over sport a plain WBand… so it doesn’t stand out or draw unwanted attention to me, while at the same time clearly saying SHE IS MARRIED)

Lol, and for those times when I want to change things up here at home, I have a the ability to wear my 3 Rings in whatever configuration I choose… 1, 2, or 3 rings.  Mix em up, stack em, etc.

I don’t need a stunt double… that looks “something like” my ERing / WBand.

Just my 2 Cents (Canadian… which isn’t worth much these days)

Are you looking for one that mimics your real ring, or a fun new style?

I searched really hard for a CZ ring that mimics my own, but had no luck finding on with a CZ center stone. I settled for a mimic of the band itself and I wear it more frequently than I would have originally thought. (Especially right now – I sent the ring back to the jeweler to replace a lost side stone, and while it was there, solder the wedding ring to it. Now of course I can’t wear it until the wedding because it has a w-band on it!)

My real ring:

My “stunt double”:

@This Time Round:  Sometimes it’s simple in case it gets lost: i.e. beach

I wear mine when I go to the dog park with my dog, because one time I wore my real ring and a mouthy puppy I was playing with got his tooth hooked on my ring and it scared me. Not to mention I had to clean it real good after going out in the dirt with dogs.

And, worst case scenario: you’re in a country with bad tourist crime: someone threatens you and demands your purse and your visible jewelry: hand over the CZ instead of your most sentimental piece.

@nl:  Get a moissanite stunt if you don’t want to wear your “good”  diamond. Moissanites are very durable and very pretty! JTV has them. Here is a moissanite in sterling silver for $89 at Jtv

MSF065RHere’s a 1 carat moissanite for $150

@This Time Round:  +1. I will be wearing a plain wedding band as well. I believe it is a pratical choice.

@This Time Round:  I’m with you. I’d rather wear a plain band if I thought I was going to get mugged than a fake ring and get roughed up for nothing. Ouch!

@nl:  HSN.com (home shopping network). Their CZs are called Absolute and they have a really nice variety. I have several pieces. Good quality and reasonable prices. Check them out!
