Has anyone ever felt like you just keep doing one stupid thing after another? It seems like you can’t get your head straight no matter how much you want to yell at yourself and it’s not even big stuff. Just forgetting a birthday, an assignment, a chore you had to do, paying a bill on time and the list goes on and on. I bought this great bridal locket for my bouquet and eventually my neck. Gues what?? I put the wrong date on! I was exactly a year off…I hate myself now. Yeah, I’ll get over it. I mean it could be way worse. I could not have a house, or D and me could be fighting…but today? I’m just going to keep hating.
So have you done that? When one thing keeps piling up and up until the stack of things you ruin is taller than you??

I told my husband at least once a day for the month prior to the wedding that I had wedding brain. I would forget the most routine things. I’d get into bed without brushing my teeth, or go to the store, and forget my purse… it happened all the time!
I’m looking forward to having a nice empty brain for a while, so that I can remember the simple things!

YES! Not wedding related, but I totally sent in my first-time homebuyers’ tax credit forms without a copy of our settlement statement. Because I had a dumb-dumb moment, now I have to wait (for who knows how long) until I get a letter from the IRS that says “Hey idiot, you forgot something” before I can even mail it in! Ugh, frustrating! Where is my head?!

I’ve totally done that when I have been WAY stressed out!!! Do something relaxing and let the stuff go for a bit! 🙂

I compare wedding brain to baby brain….completely forgetting the most random things. ex: making frozen oj the other day I pulled the top off, then plopped the entire can in my pitcher, filled with water and mushed. I noticed the cardboard and thought, “what is that?”

I have been super stressed out lately due to currently doing my comprehensive exams for my PhD and my wedding is in less 2 months!
– I FORGOT TO PUT MY EMERGENCY BREAK ON (drive a manual transmission) AND WHEN MY FIANCE CAME HOME MY CAR WAS ON MY NEIGHBOURS LAWN ACROSS THE STREET!!!!!
Seriously!!!! I am still sooo embarrassed and this was a couple weeks ago!

Future Mrs. Martin it’s ok once I drove about 10 miles with my emergency break ON!That was a smart move!
stlginkgo My FI does that All the time only he puts opened cans in there until it’s slushly and not all the way frozen. He forgets to pop the lid off first and about 99% of the time there’s Dr. Pepper slushly stuck to the side of my refrigerator!
