Small vent! I just got my beautiful invitations back that my aunt, who is a graphic artist, printed for me. I got some of those kits from Joann Fabric and was going to print them off on my own computer, but she very graciously offered to print them in her print shop. I really like them.
However, I just put them on my scale at home and they came up at 1.1 ounces. CRAP! I think it may have been the directions on the back of the invite that were applied after printing, so they added extra weight. And some people need an extra insert for lodging. Crapidy crap crap.
Okay, vent over.

@karatechick27: Ugh, how frustrating! It’s especially bad when they’re just BARELY over. I hope you find a solution!

Yea, that totally happened to us. Our postage budget was WAY off 🙁

yeah mine ended up costing 85 cents each, and I didnt even like them! Take them to the post office and get them weighed to determine how much they’ll cost you

OMG, I was so scared when I put my whole invite together and felt how much it weighed (because of the thickness of the cardstock). I took it to the PO and the guy hemmed and hawed and finally said one forever stamp would cover it. Whew.
