I’m sorry, but I have never seen RSVP cards written out that way so I may not be of much help… I guess I would assume you would fill in the amount of seats that are reserved (in this case it would be 5) and then they would fill in how many from their family would be attending (if they are all coming they should say 5 or if just the adults are coming they should fill in 2).

You should not put the card inside the envelope, just put under the flap…hope that makes sense.

Good luck!

Well, for one if you are invited Mr and Mrs Knorr AND their children, you should either a)address them as the Knorr family, or to all 5 names.

Then type in the number of seats you are reserving, which should match the number of people the invite is addressed to

I did not put a space for “number attending” on mine and those who had less numbers, usually just crossed out the seat reservation and put in 1, or however many were coming. You can really do it however you want in that regard, no one will think it’s weird since they go out so many diff ways.

Obviously since all 5 are guests, it will be 5 guests coming, the parents are guests too not just the kids!

I think you should leave out “___ guest attending.” Just an example:

You have invited Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith, (and their children) Mary and John Smith. All four are coming so:

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith, Mary and John

Accepts with Pleasure _X_

Declines with Regrets ___

We have reserved _4_ seats in your honor

Well, let’s say Mary and John aren’t coming, they should fill it out as:

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith

Accepts with Pleasure _X_

Declines with Regrets ___

We have reserved _4_ seats in your honor

My guest were good to indicate that certain people were not coming or if one child came and the other couldn’t.

I went ahead and put the RSVP in it’s envelope with the invitation. That is how I’ve always received an invitation.
