And it clashes with the white on our invitations. The description specifically says white. I didn’t have time to order samples, so I had to go by the envelopemall description. And now I really don’t think we have time to correct the problem…
Its such a silly detail! We are going very simple on our invites, and now that the envelopes dont even go its going to really look thrown together. Booo!
/ end rant on minor detail I never thought I’d care about

@lazy: I’m sorry, that is so frustrating! Hopefully your guests won’t notice, we’re our own worst critics!

It might be minor, but it’s one of things that’s like, “Really, this is a problem? This was supposed to be simple.” And THAT is frustrating.

TRUE White coloured envelopes are easily enough to come by… lots of companies sell them / have them in stock.
Test out the Envelopes they sent you… see that they fit properly… then take the measurements & hop on-line to see what you can find
You can probably order today with shipping tomorrow.
That is what I’d do…
The Ivory Envelopes are not lost… you can use em in the future.
Hope this helps,

@This Time Round: I can’t believe this, but right now we’re actually considering just buying some at the store, and doing who knows what (returning?) our ivory envelopes. So much for getting a deal! I hope we can find a place to buy some in a good weight with a nice texture, though…
