Hi Bees!

I need some help with picking out hair styles for the wedding. I’ve attached pictures. I usually wear my hair down when I get dressed up. The last picture shows what my hair looks like regularly down and it is about 2 inches longer now. The only thing I’m worried about is that I will be switching veils between ceremony and reception and that it will be in September and it could be hot. The first veil is a cathedral length but not the exact one that is in the pictures. The second veil will be plain and fingertip.

I can only comment on the veil because I think your hair looks perfect in the first picture. But if you want a style I’d suggest a mid level bun with a side part because it works well for your face. The cathedral veil completes your dress I believe. It adds drama to your intricate dress.
When I was getting married people kept suggesting that I do something different because of course your wedding day is the most special day……and you want to stand out from how you normally look etc. I hated to see brides who went from plain Jane before, Glamoured Jane on the wedding day and surprised their husbands and reverted to Plain Jane once more. You’re far from plain.
The thing my husband told me back then was he doesn’t want to see someone he doesn’t recognize. He wants to see me dolled up, but true to myself. Feel free to get your fiance’s opinion which honestly should be the most important. If he can only describe how he wants you to look in guy terms, give him a few visuals to work with.
