I hadn’t heard of that, but I would love to do that! Can you post a link? How do I do that?

One thing is to submit your wedding for other brides to rate it. Another thing is if a photographer submits a wedding they shot so the knot can feature it on wedding of the day.

I did both things, my wedding was submitted without any intervention from the knot, but I did send a CD with a wedding I shot and was asked to wait a month for them to consider. It was published like a month after that.

@happilyengaged4:  I’m a photographer, but I was a bride too. I submitted my own wedding via the “submit your wedding” button. I had permission to do so from my photographer. Then other brides rate it and such. The knot doesn’t interfeere with this, nor do they delete it (unless it’s inappropriate or there’s a copyright problem, etc)

If you want your wedding to be featured on the knot, then your photographer has to submit a CD with the photos to The knot. If your photographer is a knot.com vendor, he has a special login page where there’s a section to do this.

I hope that helps.

This is old, but I submitted some wedding pictures a few days ago and they’re already on the knot’s pinterest page, so yeah they just automatically post them I guess. I was expecting them to be selective, since it says that they will get back to you if they pick them. I hope someone looks at them at least to make sure they’re appropriate!
