I think it’s lovely but sterling silver isn’t exactly the most durable. All of my sterling rings have tarnished quite quickly.

I think it’s really pretty, but are you concerned at all about passing it off as a real diamond? Yellow diamonds are SUPER expensive, so that might affect my choice. I might get a white CZ because it would seem more believeable.

I like the second one better.

@ddstobe2015:  You could get a real citrine or a yellow sapphire at a jewelry store for probably around $150 or so. I think my biggest concern would be durability. The sterling might not last that long. I do prefer the second one though!

Have you thought about yellow sapphire or yellow moissanite? You don’t mention your budget but sapphire and moissanite are much more durable, and could be your “forever” stone!

You mentioned you’re swapping the ring out for something else at the wedding. I think sterling silver/CZ is definitely fine for a couple years. I like the band in the 1st pic and the solitaire in the 2nd one. Hmmm 🙂

I think that’s beautiful! I will admit…I have looked at that same ring myself!! 🙂 I have never had a problem with silver tarnishing on me…unless I’m not wearing it.

If you like it..go for it!

Are those from Berricle? I have a cushion cut canary CZ from there, I really like it! I definitely think it would be fine for a temporary e-ring.
