So my FI is professional friends with the owner of our reception space. She recently reached out to us about a bride they hosted who was looking to sell her live, planted succulent centerpieces. We got in contact with her and she knocked the prices from $750 to $350 when we told her our budget!!
We are getting 17 medium and large arrangements of over 150 plants!! They are planted in large glass bowl planters. We were budgeting a frugal $500 for centerpieces so I am over the moon!
What I am planning to do is to pull the plants out of the glass bowls, paint the insides of the bowls various colors, then replant them. Anyone have any tips for this? I’ve never repotted succulents (or any plants) for that matter, but I understand they are quite hearty!
Any other ideas for the succulents are also welcomed!! I accidentally deleted the email with the photo attachments so I won’t have pics until i pick them up.
