I havent tried the VS one but I’ve tried a similar Nordstrom one and trust me its not worth the hassle! Happiness is more important you dont need to be worring about that on your wedding day. I’m size 5, Mine rolled up on the legs and felt annoying when i tried it. I’m just going to eat low sodium and not drink alcohol a week before the wedding and I think it will have the same effect.

I have this VS piece and my problem with it is IT ALWAYS ROLLS DOWN. I’ve tried multiple sizes, clothing tape, etc.. but i can never make it stay up for a whole event. I was shooting a wedding Saturday and it kept rolling down. ๐Ÿ™

Personaly I hate VS shapewear and thats coming from someone who loves everything else about it. Spanx are hands down way better IMHO. I bought this one http://www.victoriassecret.com/ss/Satellite?ProductID=1265437266983&c=Page&cid=1300104433671&pagename=vsdWrapper&search=true and had to return it. It was terrible. I didn’t feel like it did anything for me and I had a difficult time with the top part. I own several pairs of spanx so I compared the two, Spanx beat VS without question.

I don’t think shapewear is really designed to suck you in – only to smooth you out. If you want to be sucked in, you’d probably need something more along the lines of a corset.

I have tried some of the VS shapewear. I wear a size 2-4 in normal dresses. The VS shapewear does nothing for me. I had to get the smallest size, and still dosn’t work. I am sad about it because there is one dress I have the accentuates my tummy and wish so badly that I could wear something that helps out.

@jholler25: I think you’ll be disappointed but on the plus side it was REALLY easy to return so it wouldn’t hurt to order and see for yourself ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree with the comments that spanx are better than VS shapewear.  But as someone already mentioned, VS returns are really easy.  You just pop it right back in the bag it came in, fill out the return form, stick the label on the outside, and drop it at UPS.

I am a size 0-2, but I have a little belly ๐Ÿ˜‰ I didn’t wear anything under my wedding dress because it had so much boning, but my rehearsal dress was like spandex.  I ended up buying some shapewear in an XS for $20 from, of all places, Maurices! I was there with my sister the day of the rehearsal while she was looking for shoes, and it was PERFECT for me.  And cheap! It came in tan and black.
