Not married yet, but here is a picture of my e-ring with wedding band and FI’s wedding band in the jeweler’s box. The wedding band isn’t blinged out, but neither is my e-ring. I like having similar designs for the rings.

I would suggest trying on a load of rings to see what goes well with your beautiful e-ring!! It’s fun to go ring shopping!

Here’s my set!

The bottom band is my wedding band. I wear the rose gold twist band to add some color 🙂

Jamichristine05:  I’m definitely not good at giving wedding band advice. I think picking out a band to coordinate with an ERing (or anniversary ring, in my case) is a really hard task! I don’t think I’ve found my ring’s “perfect match” set just yet. I finally have some ideas of what I want, but it’s going to take a while to put it together.

But you mentioned possibly wanting to do diamonds in a different size or shape on the band. Here’s a set I wear sometimes that hits both of those things. My anniversary ring has princess cuts on the setting, and the band is rounds. I think it still coordinates because my center stone is round. Also, the sizes are a bit different. (2 different metals, though — platinum and white gold — but at least they are the same color)

Jamichristine05:  Beautiful ring!

My e-ring has a 2mm channel-set band with very small diamonds, and my wedding band is a half-eternity shared-prong with 11 small moissanite stones, each about 3x the size of the diamonds in my e-ring band. Both are palladium. I love the mis-matched looked!

Beautiful ring! I remember fretting over wedding bands. Try on all types and then when you least expect it One of those rings will give you that feeling. I had the best luck when I stopped trying to match my ering and just went with the band I wanted to wear for life no matter how my ering paired up. Here’s the only pic I can find of my simple set.

I had a difficult time deciding on my wedding band as well. I decided on a half eternity band (due to the idea of diamonds being on the bottom just making me nervous.) I’m pretty rough with my hands/jewelry and would hate to lose any stones. I love the feminine, small and dainty look of my band in comparison to my engagement ring. The diamonds in the band are smaller than any of the stones in my engagement ring.

I love it when they don’t match but go. So maybe look at some bands with bigger diamonds, but still rounds? I love it when the wedding band is bigger than the engagement ring. But just try on try on try on. You’ll find what feels right.

My e-ring didn’t have a matching band, but I decided to find a band that matched the diamond size in my e-ring.  It’s not a perfect match, but it works.

I chose to have a carved design for my wedding band. A few people assumed it looks like diamonds because it sparkles. I wanted a band that would be “care free” so that I wouldn’t have to worry about diamonds falling out…same with my engagemant ring.
