@MommaJenn28:  I know a lot of people who bought the Sonoline B.  I bought the angelsound one…it was $20 so 1/2 the price, easy to use.  The Sonoline is more high tech is if want to keep track of heart rate #s.

Sonoline B–p-174.html?kw={keyword}&gclid=CKeP0fvj27oCFStp7AodgEkAmQ $55

AngelSound $20

Really liked having one esp. if I has not seen the doc in a while or was nervous about something esp. before I felt the baby move like I do now.

I don’t have one but I just want to caution you that if you do get one, don’t freak out if you can’t find the heartbeat! It is harder than you’d think. My doc used one on me for the first time at my 12 week appointment and it took her a good 3 minutes poking around to find the heartbeat and I wouldn’t have even realized that is what it was when I heard it! It affirmed my decision not to get a doppler because I was worried I’d be unable to find a heartbeat via user error and freak myself out on a daily basis. 🙂

I know some people have/love them though!

I also have the sonoline B and also paid around $40. Best purchase! I have never had trouble finding the heartbeat. The first time at around 8 weeks it did take a couple of attemps but when you know your looking in the right place you get the swing of it easily. I totally recommend it!

Also at my 12w midwife appt she couldnt find it and I totally knew she was not low enough so I pointed to where I usually here it and boom!! no problems 😀
