@pinkdiamonds24:  What’s your budget look like? I’d be more than happy to suggest some places.  🙂

What is your budget like? I’ve done a few Groupon/ living social deals for all inclusive trips. It takes a little more research but can save a ton of money

@pinkdiamonds24:  we are going to grand sunset princess resort in riviera maya Mexico for a week all inclusive for $2780 (would have been $2400 if we didn’t  get a swim up suite)

Mexico or the Dominican Repulbic have a price range for pretty much everyone it depends on what you’re looking for in a resort.

Have you looked at Carnival cruises?? My FI and I went on one 2 years ago for about $1600. It was 7 days long & we left out of Miami and went to Cozumel, Honduras, Belize & Grand Cayman. It might be worth looking into if you don’t get seasick often

I’m not sure what your budget is, but we did 5 days in Cancun at Moon Palace (nicest resort I have ever been hands down) and it was 3K including airfare.  We have also done 6 days all-inclusive in Jamaica for 1700 total.

Mr TTR & I are semi-retired so we travel a lot.

Not sure how much travelling you have done… but you should be aware that the majority of AIs are going to be found in countries / places that need them to bring in the tourists… countries that tend to have issues… be they Political – Economic – Social (Health, Safety, etc)

As they say… there is A REASON when something is cheaper than everything else.

Countries that have such AIs are… Cuba – Mexico – Dominican Republic – and Jamaica

Of this list… Mr TTR & I won’t go back to Jamaica or the Dominican Republic due to the issues found there (especially so for DR which is a 3rd world country)

Beyond these Islands, you’ll find AIs (luxury AIs) on many of the other Caribbean Islands… but they are high end because well quite frankly the better islands don’t have the same issues… so they can attract Tourists quite easily… and being safer, people don’t have to rely on AIs they can stay in a regular Hotel, Condo etc.

Hope this helps,
