Even though my wedding is still aways away, I’m planning from abroad and am hoping to DIY the bulk of my decorations. Since I don’t want to cram too much into those last few months, I thought I’d lay out all my plans and see if they’re possible.
That said, I’ll be using this very simple chapel as my ceremony venue… I am at a loss on how to decorate aside from just adding flowers. The good news is, I’m allowed to decorate however I want so no limits there.
Any suggestions or thoughts on how you’d decorate a space like this?

Oh, you have a great little space there!
What is the theme of your wedding [if any?], if you don’t have a theme, what are some things you’d like to incorporate.
I would really take advantage of the those exposed beams in the ceiling.. maybe hang down lots of candles to make it more intimate/romantic, that space gives a intimate feel as it is.

lorakath: I’m not so sure that I would decorate at all The beauty of this stone chapel is in its’ implicity. It will not be just another cookie cutter wedding.
I would see if there is a simple wood table that could be used in lieu of an altar. I have attached a pic of the type of table, but I would keep any flower arrangements very imple.

jenilynevette: My theme is an organic fiesta, so mostly greens and neutrals! I do like the candle idea and will have to look into that.
julies1949: I’ll have to check into whether we could get a bigger table! It’s in the middle of nowhere, so unfortunately not a lot of rental companies… but there may be something I could do like that to add more table space!

lorakath: I just noticed the missing “s’s'” in my response. I really hate the short editing time on the new version of this site.
Rather than search for a larger table, you could just lay a large plank of wood across the current table.
