@FinallyAlmostMrs:  TOMS!!!! They would be able to reuse them too. 🙂 And come in a variety of styles and colors.

@FinallyAlmostMrs:

        What about some mint green flats or an accent colour to your wedding as well. Flats are comfortable and can be dressy or casual.

@FinallyAlmostMrs:  some of the wedding Toms are really cool– I almost got some for myself.

do you have a budget?  I have a suggestion, but it’s a little expensive.

@FinallyAlmostMrs:  I would just go with plain flats. You can find some for super cheap! I think Dessy sales them for $20 and they come in lots of colors.

Lightinthebox.com has some really cheap ones as well, I believe.

Edit: I just checked and apparently dessy went up to $30 for the flats.

@FinallyAlmostMrs:  I bought my girls FootzyFolds. They fold up and fit in their purses! :). They come in all sorts of colors. 🙂

I’m going to be odd man out here and say… why do you care what shoes they wear in the reception?  If they want to wear flip flops, who cares?  The pictures are done, and they’re just going to be having fun.

I don’t think it’s necessary to coordinate “reception shoes” for your bridesmaids.  Let them pick if they want to stay in heels or change into whatever comfy shoes they want to wear.

@abbie017:  +1

It’s the reception, it’s probably dark, people are drinking and dancing.  No one cares what the bridesmaids (or anyone else for that matter) are wearing on their feet.  You don’t need to have a certain “look”, they don’t have to match.  I’ve been to wedding where a lot of the female guests are barefoot on the dancefloor.  Just let them wear whatever they want.

I bought my girls cityslips: http://www.cityslips.com/

They’re $30+ depending on the style. I even got a pair for my mom and myself. They’re great because the pouch the shoes come in unfolds to a full-size tote bag so you can carry your other shoes!
