I’m finally putting together the wedsite which will be majorly informational as this will, for all intensive purposes, be a destination wedding in California.
For any of you who have been to DWs, what would you have liked to know ahead of time? Is there something you wish the couple would have told you ahead of time?

We did a FAQ for our families traveling from GA to northern CA (before we cancelled that whole thing & just eloped in Mexico). Our draft FAQ’s included things like:
-weather & what to pack (northern CA is cold at the coast & hot inland so that required some explaining)
-directions to all venues (maybe cab #’s?)
-who to contact for what
-suggestions on restaurants, bars, activities
-transportation info (we live 4 hours away from any major airports)
-wedding attire (basically reinforcing the dressy casual/business casual theme while letting them know it would all be outdoors)
-tourist info & links to travel websites
-rsvp directions/link (yes again, you will have unreturned rsvp’s & calls about “how do i rsvp again?”)
-schedule with any pre-paid group activties or dinners you would like them to attend
