LEEDZ Salon is great in Ames, it's an Aveda salon. They have two locations in Ames, so if one is full you could try the other. It's the only salon I went to when I went to ISU and I actually miss going there. Makeup I can't really help you with, but they could probably do it there as well.
How did you pick Ames? Are you from there or went to school there? Just curious :)

I am planning our wedding from Boston, so I don't have the luxury trying out many of them!
