You can always go onto David's bridal website and use their interactive tool that lets you put your wedding party together and see what it looks like. I don't think it would look bad, although it will be red, white and blue (nothing wrong with that, but some people have an aversion to the patriotic theme)
that blue is great, but if you are looking for more options, i'd suggest SLATE GREY or silver!
The red will look great with the royal blue! Since I have no way else to describe it, I think it will look very uh, royal!
I vote blue! Bring a faux-quet of red with you to the Bridal store when you choose the BM dresses.
The dress is so elegant there is no way you will look like a clown...haha! I love royal blue...I also really love a deep purple almost eggplant purple with your red rose bouquet.
I think the blue has potential...maybe not a bright technicolor blue, but a rich blue color could look lovely!
I like the blue, but I am more partial to black. My bridesmaids are all wearing black because I wanted an elegant, classy look. If you decided to do black or any dark color I think the red roses would really stand out and make it look elegant! Either way, I like it! :)

Hi:
I found the perfect dress and I always wanted a big bouquet of red rosses!!! but I have no idea what color the bm dresses should be... my little sister suggested royal blue and at first I loved the idea.. but now!! I'm afraid that the colors will clash and that I will look like a total clown. Any suggestions for the bm dresses? I want the wedding to be elegant or at least that's the look that we are trying to achived.
My mother said that maybe the bm dresses should be black.. but i think that black would be boring...and I really love the royal blue.. but like I said I'm afraid. What do you ladys think?
