So I have *no* idea how I want to wear my hair or do my makeup, other than I want my hair up and my makeup relatively natural since it's a daytime wedding.  I thought I'd see if you bees have any suggestions for me.  I have my hair trial soon, and my wedding is just over 5 weeks away.  I'll post pics below of my hairpiece (no veil) and me if I can find one.  My coloring probably most resembles Anne Hathaway (very fair, brown eyes, dark brown hair).  Thanks and I can't wait to see what you come up with.  ;-)

Very much a personal perference. You should give us some options to choose from. Do you like big hair v. understated hair, traditional v. edgy updo, romantic v. clean? I think your hairpiece will look well on the side. I personally love Mrs. Glitter's updo.

I think your hair looks great down.  I originally wanted mine half up, half down but then got worried cause I've never been able to make it through a night with my hair being down and still looking good.  So it might be something to talk to your hair dresser about if you're thinking of a somewhat down do.

Hmmm.  I think I really want it up, though, to show off some great drop earrings that FI gave me last Christmas which I'll be wearing.  Not the messy/tousled style, that's really not me at all.  Definitely not "big" hair.  :-)  Here's a pic of my dress if that helps at all:

The dress is stunning, and so are you. I agree that for a daytime wedding the makeup should be natural looking. That means working with neutral shades of beige, taupe, cocoa and brown on the eyes. Keep the emphasis along the lashline and the eyeshadow soft. Pinky tones on your lips and cheeks (with a brown undertone if you want to keep it really natural) will finish the look off perfectly.
