I think every store varries in selection and procedure, so the best thing to do is hit the phone book and start calling around!
PS - I've been keeping an eye on the Mens Warehouse...they have really good sales on suits - a lot of buy one get one free stuff (so if one of your groomsmen or parents needs a suit...money saver!) Plus, you can always just do a sport jacket and matching khakis or slacks. That's what we're planning on. For the cost of renting we can just buy the parts seperatley at different stores and keep it for later events!
I haven't found any place yet to rent suits. I signed up for the email promotions from Jos A. Banks They seems to have a lot of good options and good sales (BOGO and 50% off).
Men's Warehouse is having a suit sale right now, they are 100 dollars off so many of them are 200 dollars! I have yet to find a place that will rent suits, and renting seems to be kind of crazy to me anyway - why pay 120 to rent something when you could buy it for just 80 more dollars?
Good luck!!
I am Canadian but ALL of our tux rental places also rent suits!
I really wanted light grey suits but couldn't find light grey rentals but all of the companies had two choices of tan (a dark and a light) so now we are going for the light tan colour!
Just call them up and ask!
Good Luck!
Most tux shops rent suits now, the exception being Mens Wearhouse-- they sell them. Yes, you can buy suits cheaply now (cheap suits, anyway), but when comparing the cost to renting, don't forget the rental comes with a shirt and tie (and shoes, in many cases), both of which you'll have to buy if you choose to buy your suits.

I'm kind of clueless, but I know that it's common to rent tuxedos, but are there places where suits can be rented?
My wedding is outdoors in the summer and I'm looking for a more summery look (possibly light tan/beige suits). Do most people just have all the groomsman purchase a suit like this, or can these be rented at the same types of places that rent out tuxes?
