Are they open to buying? Maybe go into a store and try on different brands until you find one that fits, or can be tailored to different frames. Our groomsmen purchased theirs from Macy's - we opened a credit card with them, and tied it in with the discount. The cost for the entire suit, a shirt and a tie was around $200.
We went with Tommy suits, as my DH and his best man are tall and thin, and the other GM was a little shorter, but still thin. Tommy had the athetlic fit, which looked greated on them. We noticed other brands were meant for larger frames, and just looked huged.
The only reason we went with buying is due to a terrible experience at Men's Warehouse.
Thanks for the insight! I will look into the Tommy Hilfiger suits, I think I remember seeing a few of those at Macy's that I liked. I'm pretty sure the groomsmen are open to buying as long as we don't ask them to spend an insane amount of money - the way I see it, girls spend hundreds on their dresses anyway so buying an affordable suit should be par for the course. ANYWAY, thanks again for the advice!

I need suggestions on suits for groomsmen. We have 5 groomsmen all with different body types & are most concerned with fitting our two bigger guys who have linebacker body types. What we really want is a modern 3-piece gray or black suit. One of the guys went to Men's Warehouse & tried on everything they had to no avail - none of the jackets fit correctly, either too big in the shoulders or too small in the chest. Tuxes have been suggested but I don't see how that would solve our problem of jackets not fitting correctly. Wedding is June 1 so want to figure this out by Christmas. Can anyone help? What did your groom/groomsmen do (or what will they do) for your wedding?
