Its really humid all the time where I’m from and the dress I just got yesterday is a little thicker of a material. I was wondering how you guys plan on (or what you did) to stay cool through dancing, being outdoors, ETC.

I’m an early fall wedding and hot natured. I plan to have a fan hidden in a back room to stand over when I feel like I might pass out. Classy, I know!

We had our wedding this June outdoors. I was prepared for the worst. It was about 95 and humid! Our groomsmen wore 3 piece suits and I reluctantly told them they could not wear the jackets if it was bad – they kindly wore them anyway! We had ice cold bottled water for our guests outside. We bought fans for during the ceremony. We had the tent outside for shade – it was awesome! Make sure guests know it’ll be hot – some of ours wore hats and good luck!

I am making sure to drink enough water beforehand…we are having water passed around before the ceremony and then everyone will move inside right after. Our programs are paddle fans so I hope people will use them to fan themselves!! Also we pushed our start time back to 6:00 so hopefully it will have cooled off a little bit! And then Im just going to go with the flow! Being hot means Ill have a nice glow! 🙂
