I just read a few booksin the Graceling series (about a land where some people are born with a “Grace”, like fighting, that is a special skill. They’re owned by the kings in their nation-states. Drama ensues.), I’m rereading (for the 1000th time) Homecoming by Cynthia Voigt (Dicey Tillerman, age 13, and her younger siblings basically walk from eastern Mass to Bridgeport, CT, and on, when their mother abandons them in a mall parking lot.), and I just reread The Fault in Our Stars (what a disappointing movie, right??). I also just read The Secret History by Donna Tartt. I liked it, but wanted more…closure, I suppose.
What are you reading?
What should I read? I like long, intellectual-friendly books with strong female characters and/or great characterization…not Gone Girl. I hated Gone Girl. I’ve read Game of Thrones. I feel like I’ve read everything! I need some captivating fiction books to bring on a trip next week. I have a lot on my mind so something really good is necessary.
