Weddingbee boards

Hi!  Is anyone else going to the Summer Salon with Style event at Mark Ingram tomorrow night? (June 17).  In addition to Mark Ingram, they're featuring Sylvia Weinstock, Ellen Weldon, and others.  I'm looking forward to it and just wondering if any other bees would be there!

@bakerbride, not sure if you're in NYC now?  That's where the event is, but I saw that you're from Berkeley.

It is an event sponsored or hosted by Town & Country Weddings. According to the invite, talents will include:

Wedding Invitations & Stationery – Ellen Weldon Design, LLC

I'm not sure how I got the invite - perhaps through Mark Ingram, which I've visited. But the invitation itself was really beautiful letterpress with edge-painting, lined envelope and my name in calligraphy!

Hi Ladies!

Just wanted to give a recap of the event - I had been to a few bridal shows previously, and frankly I was a little scared that I'd be trampled.    However, the event at Mark Ingram was very pleasant - intimate, warm and friendly.  There were a few models dressed in beautiful gowns, Ellen Weldon invitations decorating the space, and a platter of meats, cheese and fruits.  They were passing around pieces of Sylvia Weinstock's lemon cake (YUM!), Pellegrino and champagne, and Mark Ingram and Sylvia Weinstock were there, chatting with the guests.   I wanted to go up and introduce myself to Sylvia as I've admired her cakes for years (and am super excited that she will be making mine!!!) but I chickened out, lol.   

When I left, I was given an awesome gift bag with Sylvia Weinstock biscotti, some super cute Ellen Weldon cards, magazines and an African Violet!  This was the best bridal show I've ever been to!!
