If the lanterns are for tables or the floors, could you do white paper bags instead?
Edit: with LED lights inside to prevent burning things down!
They will be hanging from the ceiling, so def have to be the lantern shape.

Also check dollar tree for white lanterns I got lucky and found some colored ones but not sure about white.
Best place to buy paper lanterns is Jadetime.com. They have the best prices on the web that I found. Some lanterns are less than 0.84 each. Just make sure to click on the drop down arrow. That's where you'll find the wholesale prices. I purchase my paper lanterns from them and my wedding was last month. I used around 160 lanterns. The prices was extremely reasonable.

I dont know what kind of short dress you are looking for for your reception but when you said outdoor and paper lanterns, I thought of this one. I am actually wearing this for my rehearsal dinner and my FI is wearing a seersucker suit, so I think it would be perfect for a wedding! It's by Sherri Hill (known for pageant gowns) and a boutique I know you can order her gowns from is Cinderella's Closet in Lilburn and I believe they still have a sample in the store you can try on. The back in kinda low and has the same rosettes at the bottom of the back. It's a lace overlay and the guy in the store said the sample was more ivory. The number is 2264 if you want to go to her website and look at other pics. O and it's $450, which is pretty good!

ok, i did my first post a second ago and not sure if i posted it to the right thing? :)
i need a ton of white paper lanterns- different sizes- and online, i feel like they're all too expensive. my summer wedding is in atlanta and the reception is part indoor, part outdoor. any ideas?
also...looking for short dress for rececption..
i got a fab deal at running of the brides in nyc this year so i want to have two dresses. need size 0-2. they're hard to find online- any ideas?
