Hi! I am hoping to lose weight before my wedding too! I am currently 130 pounds and would like to be 119 for when I try on dresses etc! I’ve got back on myfitnesspal and am working out four to five times a week… just need to cut down on food.

futuremrsdeemac:  I’ll be your buddy! I will be getting engaged soon (accidently saw the ring) and we already have a september 2015 wedding planned. After the depo shot I put on about 30 pounds, so I’m currently 150 (lost 10 since Jan 1) and Ideally I’d like to get to 120/115. I’m on myfitnesspal too kmiller132008! Granted I didn’t do well this weekend due to wonderful st pattys day. I need help staying motivated!

futuremrsdeemac:  I’d love to join in on your thread! I am currently where you were a few years ago, unfortunately. I gained a lot of weight after my wedding during the holidays. I’ve been working out 6 days a week and eating better. So far I’ve lost about 4lbs! I am looking for ladies to help keep motivated and share stuff with. My husband doesn’t get the girly side of it lol.

Hey!

 

My wedding is mid August and I’m really trying to stay focused on my working out, healthy eating.  Since I became ‘serious’ about a 6 weeks ago, I have managed to lose 10lbs.  I am on myfitnesspal and I really credit that with helping me stick to this.  Having a major sweet tooth is my biggggest problem!

Thank you!  It was truly SO hard and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I finally realized I’d lost it.

I run for about 50 minutes, 6 days a week ( interval running on intermittent days) and I do 3 days a week of strength training.  ANNNND…I walk a lot.  I was given one of those Fitbits and I became obsessed with getting my stepcount higher and higher. 

I used to severely restrict calories and found that I lost more when I ate more calories ( based on my height, weight, level of activity).  There are many articles in the MFP forums on how to calculate this…  So…I upped calories from 1200 to 1450-1500 and I actually started to lose weight faster!  <br />I love food so that was a nice discovery!

I would love to be your weight loss buddy! I don’t know how to use MFP though. I keep trying and just don’t get it and I work in tech! Do you know of any good getting started guides?

I want to join everyone! I want to lose ten pounds, and am down three already. I am going to excersize everyday. The hardest part about losing weight is to resist eating the junk food that is everywhere at my work all the time.

i’ve lost about 15 pounds so far since January and I have about 20-25 to go! i am doing Insanity and before I did Insanity I did T25. I am planning on doing another round of Insanity before my wedding in June, which makes me think my goal will be met!
