Hi! I am not using sunflowers but I have been to a wedding where they did.
It looked beautiful. Sorry I don't have any picks but I will try to explain.
Each bridesmaid carried 3 sunflowers in various sized of stem. They were tied together with a thick green satin ribbon with a big bow. The bride did not have sunflowers but the flower girl had a sunflower on the back of her dress.
She also had sunflowers on the chairs going down the isle.
& at her reception she had twig centerpieces with sunflowers hanging off of them.
It was beautiful!

I'm getting married the end of August outdoors and am thinking about using sunflowers for my bouquet and perhaps having the bridesmaids each carry one sunflower with a ribbon on it. Has anyone else used sunflowers? Has anybody done a DIY bouquet with sunflowers? Do you have pictures? I'd kind of like to incorporate twigs/branches/woody vines of some sort, too, but haven't found pictures of anything like that.
Just looking for ideas out there :-)
