That sounds like a really fun idea. I love sunglasses! It is very sweet that you're considering this to make your daughter comfortable. Moms are the best!
Btw my nephew had an episode of photophobia not permanent but still it worries you. I just told him he was a rockstar when he wore his sunglasses. He seriously thought he was literally a rockstar so cute.
I think people will be wearing their own sunglasses anyways if it is sunny, so I don't think you need to purchase the sunglasses and give them out. You could have a cute little basket with some extras in it if you want (which would be really cute and serve the purpose of helping your daughter feel special), but I think it would be an overkill to buy a pair for everyone since many people will already have sunglasses.
Aww, that's an awesome idea! And the first four sunnies are really cute~
I think most people would have their own, too, but that having a handful around wouldn't hurt. My eyes are really sensitive to the sun and I ALWAYS have sunglasses in my purse. My eyes water and I squint up real bad. Is your daughter self conscious about her need to wear sunglasses outside? If it's bright, she will definitely NOT be the only one wearing them! You could get her some cute white ones (i'm guessing she's your flower girl?) and have her name put on the side of them in sequins or something wedding related so they become part of her outfit =]
thanks guys =)
Very true people will have their own. Maybe we will just have a few of them for those who don't. The site I found them on it's $20-$30 for a dozen.. not too bad if the quality is ok.
As of now we are still figuring out date and time.... but an evening reception will be ideal
I always have a pair of sunglasses on top of my head even when it is raining. FMIL jokes that I will be the only bride with sunglasses on top of my head and flip flops on my feet. (We live on an island)
that is a really cute idea...and might make for great photo ops! Love it
This is sooo cute! Your daughter will really feel like shes included, love it!
I have very sensitive blue eyes and I CANNOT step foot outside without sunglasses. I found a pair with some bling- like the first pair of pink ones you chose- to wear outside. I think it will add an element of fun. I think it is a great idea!

My daughter (4 1/2) has photophobia and can not be outside without sunglasses.... we are looking at two different venues, both outdoors...in southern california.
Even if we have an evening reception, the ceremony will be when it is still sunny.
I was thinking it might be cute to collect a bunch of cute, stylish sunglasses to giveout to guests so our daughter will feel kind of special, included, understood.
People wont have to wear them, but I thought it might be a fun little extra.
What do you think?
