I’m getting married outside at 4:00 in August in Colorado. It’s guaranteed to be sunny and I never go outside without sunglasses – something about wearing contacts makes me extremely sensitive to the sun. This just occurred to me. Any ideas? I’m thinking walking down the aisle wearing sunglasses is weird, but so is squinting! We have a chuppah so thankfully we won’t have direct sunlight during the ceremony. Anyone else really sensitive to sunlight?

I think part of this has to do with the direction that you have to walk down the aisle. We took pictures at 4 in CO and I had to tough it out. Keeping my eyes closed while the photographer was loading and then opening them when he was taking the picture. Probably won’t work too well at the ceremony though.

Yikes! I didn’t even think about photos! I’m squinting in all my Bat Mitzvah photos – it’s terrible. Anyone know of any really awesome sunglasses? At least for fun photos pre and post-ceremony.

I NEVER go out without sunglasses! My eyes are so sensitive that they start crying. I am going to tough it out down the aisle, and then I will be in full shade for the ceremony. I’m sure my pictures will be ridiculous!

I also never leave the house without my sunglasses. I have photo-sensitivity in general and sunlight definitely bothers me a lot. If I were getting married outside during the day, I would definitely be wearing my shades down the aisle. Your Maid/Matron of Honor can hold them during the ceremony!
