Hi Bees! I am looking for an “affordable” (3k or less) videographer for my August wedding. I would REALLY love to have someone film in Super 8mm or a combo of Super 8 and HD. The couple of videographers I have found that do this (IQ and Weddings on Film) are out of our price range (hint taken at “notable clients” listed!).
Do you know of anyone who might fit the bill? Thanks so much!
(If you know of an awesome videographer at this rate, even if they don’t do Super 8, feel free to mention as well )

birdsinthetrees : Were you able to find what you were looking for? I actually filmed my wife on Super 8 dancing around in her dress, the day after our wedding. I run a small videographer company and I’ve been dying to put together an all film package that would cover 8mm filmmaking and 35mm still photography. I’ve been waiting for Kodak’s new Super 8 camera (due out anytime), as they’re supposed to streamline the film processing process. Right now, it costs about $500 (or more) to film, develop and get a quality scan of Super 8. It also takes a lot of time and coordination with other vendors, so I can see why people charge what they do.
