I think they are adorable (especially if executed properly).
I think these are great. The ones in the photo do look messy but I think they could be really cute with a little more effort and creativity.
I think this is a cute idea. I've seen it on Martha Stewart before, and I think one of the blogging bees made these. I agree that the ones in the link are a bit sloppy, probably because they used buttercream icing instead of royal icing. I found this picture where they look a lot cuter!
