I'm so psyched for you! You'll have to post the complete ring when you get it!
Wonderful!!! Congrats!!! Please post pics, can't wait to see! I am in a somewhat similar position as the diamond center stone for my e-ring has been sourced by our jeweler, and delivered to the store so that the "assembly" can begin....although I don't anticipate a proposal until fall/winter.
But, I digress! Congrats to you and your FI to be!!!
@bigcitybee: Thank you so much (: we're actually engaged now haha, the full story is here (with pictures)!

YAY for titles that rhyme ;) if you haven't read it before (or want to read it again) the ring story begins here!
I'm so excited because my boyfriend accidentally spilled the beans on my ring haha. Yesterday he surprised me with a new BlackBerry and I was really excited but worried about how he would pay for the ring since he told me he would propose by the end of winter. This led into a conversation on setting costs and prong costs and stuff. The whole time he really wanted to tell me that he knew exactly how much it cost. I've been feeling really sick for a month now so in order to cheer me up (and prove himself right) he pulled out a little slip of paper from his wallet and told me that the Amora had been delivered to his parents' house over the holidays. When I looked at the paper more closely it turned out it was a slip from the local jewelry store and it said "setting cost $150-$175, pick up in one week". I was (and still am) super excited!
This whole time the only thing I've known about is the actual setting, I've tried it on a couple of times, but he's kept it hidden really well. The rest was supposed to be a secret, because he didn't want me to get accustomed to the ring before the proposal. I respected that and tried my best not to bring it up. It turns out that he just couldn't keep this part a secret and felt really relieved when he spilled the beans ;) I don't get to see the ring until the actual proposal but I feel so much better knowing that it's actually coming and that he really did mean it when he said winter time (:
The best news is that he was originally going to take it to this one shop but then realised it would take them 3 weeks. He let it slip that 3 weeks would be too long and that he went with the other place because they would do it in a week (: YAY! I hope that it comes within the next couple weeks! Sorry for such a long post, I'm just super excited to have such concrete progress!
