This is more of a vent than anything else
Fiance and I are from South Africa and have been working in Edmonton, Canada for the last 5 months. I went to try on dresses end of March, fell in love with one, and the bridal store assured me that my dress would be here mid- to end-May as the designer had one in my size somewhere in a warehouse in America.
Since about the 20th of May I’ve been calling every few days to get an update on the dress, and each time they said “very soon” From the beginning of the week I’ve been trying to call them, but the owner isn’t in each time I call, and don’t return my calls. So I get hold of her this afternoon, and she told me, my dress arrived on Monday, but it was damaged. They ordered another one, and said it will be here next week Tuesday on the latest.
We’re flying out next week Friday, and I am freaking out. What if it doesn’t get here in time, or what if it is damaged again…
Hopefully the wedding dress gods are smiling down on me for the next week
