@KateByDesign:  JD slow cooker meatballs, huh? Will be hopping along to Pinterest in about 10 seconds, haha… I was going to go with the classic chili sauce/BBQ/grape jelly crock pot meatballs, but JD? Sold.

@Lolasmomma:  Big pot of chili with a toppings bar so everyone can add their favorites.  Pulled pork sandwiches are super easy in the crockpot/slow cooker (check out recipes on allrecipes.com.)

Chicken wings are always a classic and if you don’t want to mess with them order them from a local wing place (or Publix if you have one.)  You can always order them without sauce (or sauce on the side) so they stay crispy and then have people bring sauces for a sauce competition.  I make homemade spicy honey chipotle and super hot honey mustard wing sauces that are killer and way better than any store-bought sauce.

We JUST finalized our menu!!

We are frying wings and regular and sweet potato chips, making the rotel/velveeta/sauasage dip, little weinies/sliced kielbasa in brown sugar/ketchup/whiskey ( so amazing), and crockpot mac and cheese ( for the kids and my non-meat eating sister in law).  One of my brother in laws is bringng meatballs, my sister in law is bringing pizza dip and fruit, my mother in law is bringing shrimp and carrot cake.

We normally have some other pickup snacks like pretzels, brownies, etc too.

Bring on the superbowl-5-lbs!

It will just be SO and I so I’m not going to crazy. I’m going to make BBQ in  the crock pot and then cheesy potatoes. I’m also making buffalo chicken dip, but that’s mostly for me since SO doesn’t like spicy food. I’m really only watching for the commericals this year as I have no interest in the game.

I am making chili. We are in an apartment and my oven just got fixed today, so I am going to ask my Mom for her recipe for ribs and surprise DH.

Snackwise just a few things, tostitos, salsa, Skittles, M&Ms.
