I'm not sure if my husband is watching it or not. He isn't going to a party or anything for sure.
I don't get the "widow" part?
Anywho, in the same boat with you. Sundays are designated as my "get the house clean.animals washed up,do laundry" days. I'll most likely just pop in some girly movies....perhaps "My Best Friends Wedding"
Widow as in I've been left alone to myself for the whole day. Hubs won't be home til at least 930 or so.
I probably will be a super bowl widow me and my FI are working for our honey moon, not an actual job its just an odd job..
Well my FI is actually going to be flying during the superbowl, but I will be watching for sure! Go Saints! Who Dat?!?!!?
I don't think so. FI works til 4, then we might watch it if we're bored. But I can think of a million other things we should get done. lol.
We had a superbowl party last year and it was absolutely AWFUL so I'll definitely be limiting my superbowl involvement. It ended up with the biggest window in our house being shattered by a football and a not even drunk guest jumping off of our second story balcony and hitting his head on the cement patio below and going to the ER. Needless to say, there will be no more superbowl parties at our place.
@legallyblondebride
That must have been one heck of a super bowl party.
@legallyblondebride: OMG!!!
I am a Superbowl Widow today!!! And I don't mind one bit! I have a lot of work to catch up on...maybe a mani/pedi and can't wait to dive back into the WB Bookclub book!
Nope - he's being grumpy and tired and I'm the one that's getting all excited for the super bowl. GO COLTS!
Not really. My husband doesn't watch sports generally (except Baseball), but he feigns interest in the "big" games so we'll be watching it. He said "we have to watch it so we can see the commercials!" but I think that is more of a ploy lol I'll be making some wings for him though, in honor of the occasion lol
Nope. The boy doesn't really care about either team (but he did say he would prefer the Saints to win) and while I don't mind football it is definitely on the bottom of my "sports I like to watch" list.
So instead I made an appointment at the Apple store to do look at a new macbook!!
hheeckk no, I love some football! We plan super bowl party hoppin today! lol
WHO DAT?! WHO DAT!?
GO SAINTS!
I'm not a huge fan of football, but we watch it together anyway. I like the experience :) We might have some friends over and just watch it at our place :)
I am so BUMMED because I am heading out of town on a work trip and can't enjoy the superbowl with my FI :( I actually love watching it!!!! Plus all the yummy snacks haha.

Beekeeper
I am!!! I'm studying for two tests this week (sorta leisurely) so I opted out of the beer-wing-football fest (me no like football anyways) and will be headed to the gym, having dinner with a friend and just sorta enjoying having the house to myself. Some laundry's in order, as is giving my two smelly kitties a bath, much to my husband's delight, haha.
Anybody else a superbowl widow today?
