So, I am very interested and planning to learn to bellydance. Assuming all goes well, I was considering doing a very simple, surprise dance for my honey during the reception. Nothing over the top, but something fun and sassy to make him laugh and thrill the guests. I thought if I was dressed appropriately (think leggings, long flowy top w/ coins, bare feet..total example), it might be funny and sweet. My ceremony is at my venue, so it would be easy to change and we are doing it completely small and intimate..no wedding party, no dinner, no speeches, no father/daughter dance, no bouquet toss, etc. It will strictly be close friends and family..a very hush, hush evening, cocktail reception with a guacamole bar, baby!! My theme is bohemian chic, so just a fun thought.. Also, my fiance is a hip hop artist and will be performing at the reception, so I thought it would keep the performance energy alive and mostly just make people laugh, as it would be very informal and comedic (I am not very serious!). 😉
What do you bees think of this idea? Too sexy? Great fun? Would love your feedback!
