Weddingbee boards

Just when I thought I wasn't going to have a shower, some of the ladies in my office threw me a surprise bridal shower last night!

My department was away for a retreat all day and were only returning to the office to drop off our stuff before going for a drink. Someone had the idea of putting the leftover food in one of the refrigerators that isn't the most convenient for staff who work on the weekend (it was under the guise, "oh the Saturday crew would like this food!"). One of my teammates kept oddly lingering around to the point where I was thinking "Okay, I got this. I think I can handle carrying the bag of food! Why is she still standing there??"

Lo and behold they had opened up our super, fancy conference room and as I walk in I was greeted with "Surprise!".

I really was surprised! I was really, really touched that they would do that for me. :-)

@MrsMaine: I was really nice and actually one of the first times I have felt like a "bride". I still can't believe they surprised me! I'm pretty intuitive of things going on in the office so I can't believe I missed this one!
