how much of a control freak is she? i like surprises and would love one at the bachelorette or shower or rd, but NOT at my wedding. unless it was from FI.

I think unless she is super Picky.... it would be a great surprise!
I would freak if my besties "surprised" me with something at my wedding or reception. But that's just me.
I'd probably enjoy a surprise, but some people are NOT into surprises. You guys presumably know her best!
oh my gosh, that is AWESOME, I personally would love a surprise like this! Although how would you get all the photos to correspond with it??
I personally would not want to have a surprise on my wedding day. I have everything planned to a t with my planner and everything will be timed perfectly.
I wrote her and she told me it's 500.00. I think we're going to go ahead and do it. We we were brainstorming how to get video and photos without her knowing. I have a bunch of photos- and I am going to take a bunch of video of her and tell her I'm just documenting the whole wedding planning experience, etc.
I think that is really funny! I don't know if I would do it at the reception though, maybe the rehersal?
Neat idea but I would suggest not doing at the reception. I would be super annoyed if someone did that! I would say the rehearsal dinner would be more appropriate.

Yeah I'd say leave it out of the reception, too. It is a really funny video, but I would not take well to a 'surprise', no matter how funny it was.
Too funny - I love it!!! I think that it is more suited to the rehearsal dinner, when there is a more intimate crowd, though.
Depends on how she likes surprises, but I know I'd love it. Not as much at the reception, but I think it would be great at the rehearsal--like in 27 Dresses--only nicer! How sweet of you all to want to do this for her. 
My bridesmaids surprised us at our wedding with a farewell sendoff lit with candles. It was amazing! I think as long as the surprise fits in witht he overall style of the event she will be delighted.

personally i would not like any surprises on my wedding, i would bring it up to her and perhaps the content of it could be the surprise?
Hmm, well maybe if we request that it be less on the funny side, it will work at the reception? I definitely want it to be somewhat of a surprise.
I guess it depends on what kind of reception she is having. if it is an evening reception that is a little more formal with lots of dancing, then I would say no. If its something in the afternoon thats a little more casual, maybe. I once went to a wedding where they had a slideshow going on repeat by the bar so people could watch as they liked. You could get it set up someplace out of the way and have the bride and groom check it out (maybe at the cocktail hour) and then leave it on repeat for other guests to watch
I love it! If she has a good sense of humor, then I say do it!
That is really neat; but I agree that if she's not into surprises that she might freak. I would love it but I love surprises, good ones anyway!
Personally, I would love this at my reception as a surprise, but I think the ladies above are right. The rehearsal dinner might be a better place for a surprise like this...and a perfect way to lead up to the wedding!

I think it's awesome. I would love it if my bridal party did something like that for my fiance and I. I definitely think you should keep it funny - that's what is so great about it! It is sweet and will get laughs. It would be perfect after toasts / during dinner.

I definitely could see it at the rehearsal dinner or the reception. I think with the guests we have coming that people would like it at the reception.. most people have a good sense of humor

My sis is getting married this August and we all wanted to pitch in and surprise her with something.
