Hey everyone!! I just started a workout routine and eating healthy this week. Lost 7 pounds in my first week!! Anyone else doing the same? I have lost 140 pounds already, via weight watchers, but I got off track a bit and have 40 more to lose until the big day!! Who’s with me??

@DreamInColor: Congrats! I did weight watchers in the past and lost 150 but gained a lot back and I am back on it again. Hoping to lose some more this time around 🙂

Wow, congrats on that incredible weight loss! My mom lost a bunch of weight on WW and still follows the program, and so does my dad even though he’s not a member. He just does the points thing and portion control.

I started my journey as my new years resolution and have already lost 8.5 pounds in the first week! I am also using MyFitnessPal 🙂 I haven’t started exercising yet, but am signing up for Curves on Monday.

Wow! You’re on a kick ass roll girl! I’m trying to tone my up everything. I’m going to be meeting with my trainer once a week for 20 weeks & I’m going to workout on my own at least 2-3 times a week. Eating clean is something that I try to do all the time & am pretty successful with it…but I need to make sure that I’m getting my buttons to the gym.

@DreamInColor: oh wow ! I’ve had success with ww before but now I have the online tools and trying no processed food. Ugh! I have a ton to lose and not a lot of time. I’m hoping at least 50 before wedding.

Wow, that’s awesome!!
My FI and I have started going to the gym again (we do 2 days of 45mins of weights, and try to do 3 days of 1/2 hour of cardio) and we’ve switched over to a modified Paleo diet (I say “modified” because it can get too expensive, so some nights we just have to bite-the-bullet and eat pasta or rice).
I’ve only lost 6lbs so far in the 2 1/2 weeks we’ve been doing it… my FI says since we’re weight lifting, we’re also gaining muscle but I’m still upset that I haven’t lost more by now.
So now I’m trying to focus on losing inches, rather than the scale number.
We measured our arms (at the bicep,) waist, hips, and thighs and added the numbers together to get an overall “body number.” In February we’re going to remeasure and see how much lower the body number has gone down.
I used to use MyFitnessPal ALL THE TIME (I lost 40lbs,) but since I’ve gained back 25lbs, I don’t want to login again until I’ve hit where I was before. I know it sounds silly… I’m just so disappointed and mad at myself, that I cant bear to look at chart go up until I’ve beaten it back down and matched my “old” self.
I want to lose 30lbs by May… I’ve already ordered my dress at my current size, and it should be arriving sometime in March, so I’m hoping I’ll have to have it taken in before the wedding. *fingers crossed*
